Skynet Tech Update - KW 38

🌟 Account Sleeping Feature for Publishers:

This is a new feature at publisher level – publishers who have been inactive for more than 24 months will automatically be placed in Sleeping mode. Inactivity includes all activity within the Skynet account, such as actively promoting campaigns, if performance is being tracked on our end or when the publisher receives regular payments. Sleeping mode is deactivated when you log back into your account.

🛠️ Tuesday, 15 September

Unfortunately, following our release on Tuesday, a number of issues arose in Skynet. In the early afternoon, we first had to release a HOTFIX as we were experiencing issues in the backend. After things had seemingly returned to normal, Skynet then went completely down in the late afternoon for around 40 minutes and was no longer accessible. The reason for this was an incident at Google that affected Google Compute Engine. This, in turn, had a direct negative impact on us and Skynet. A big SORRY to everyone who experienced limited access to Skynet on Tuesday! 🙏

🛠️ Smart Overlay Banner – X is not properly aligned: 

The bug has been fixed!

🛠️ Banner uploading isn’t working / Async loading: 

This is a bug fix specifically for our Account Team – we’ve managed to resolve the issue and, since then, all pages in the campaigns have been loading much faster :)

Apart from that, a few other internal bugs have been fixed, particularly in the finance area! 🙌
