We're finally back, and we've got some new features and updates for you! Over the past three weeks, our team was split in two - some were on their well-deserved summer vacation, while others were deep in the development process for Skynet. Among other things, we've completely updated the design of Skynet and created a new overview on the Skynet homepage!
🌟 Chatbot-, Homepage- and Design-Rework
The new design of Skynet also includes our new chatbot, “Marvin,” which we developed specifically to answer your questions from now on! You can easily find him on our Skynet homepage in the bottom right corner by clicking the blue speech bubble icon. Whether you’re an advertiser or a publisher, Marvin can now answer your questions about payouts, tracking, our campaigns, and other support issues, without you having to wait for a response from us via email! Please note that, like any other chatbot, Marvin is constantly being developed and optimized. So there may be specific questions he can’t answer (yet). In that case, feel free to contact our Advertiser (advertiser@mcanism.com) or Publisher (publisher@mcanism.com) Support as usual. Our tech team is working hard to continuously improve this new tool for you!
Aside from our chatbot, the new Skynet homepage may look slightly different depending on whether you’re a publisher or an advertiser and which time period you’ve selected (last 7 days, last 30 days, etc.).
As a publisher, the overview will display the following sections: Your payout, your revenue, your sales and clicks, your conversion rate, EPC, a quick report on your performance, your top-performing campaigns and advertisers, your top countries, the “From Impression to Sale” overview, current tasks that require your attention, your best day, campaign suggestions, and possible questions for our chatbot Marvin.
As an advertiser, you’ll see the following sections in the overview: Your revenue, the commission due, the sales and clicks generated, the conversion rate, your ROAS, a quick report on your performance, your best-performing campaigns, your top countries, the “From Impression to Sale” overview, current tasks that require your attention, your best day, the latest news, your new campaigns, and also possible questions for our chatbot Marvin.
In addition to the Skynet homepage, which is probably the biggest change, other design elements have been updated. For example, the menu bar on the left side or the reports.
Our team has already noticed a few visual bugs that need to be fixed. For example, some boxes or text fields are inconsistent, or icons are too large or too small. To address this, there will be another bug fix release today (August 20) at 6:00 p.m.
🛡️ Security: Django Upgrade 4.2 -> 5
This upgrade was necessary due to last week's Angular front-end upgrade (20 -> 21). We are now up to date again and are pleased to report that we have not encountered any negative changes or bugs as a result of this upgrade :)
